Sanitation Technician 

This Job Offers:

• $19.00/hour including shift premium 
• Full Time 40 Hours 
• Afternoon Shift Monday-Friday 4PM-12:30AM

Responsibilities:

• Working as a part of the sanitation team, you will oversee the entire sanitation process.
• Work closely with the sanitation team members to ensure completeness of tasks/responsibilities for the sanitation department.
• Responsible for the accurate tracking and record keeping required for the sanitation department.
• Using appropriate cleaning method, clean in accordance to GMP Standards, all equipment/utensils, including but limited to pails, containers, divider drums, rollers and collection plates.
• Cleans production floor and surrounding area to ensure that GMP Standards are adhered to.
• Locks out, dismantles, cleans and sanitizes production machines as required and in accordance with master sanitation schedule and standard operating procedures.
• Work in a safe and conscientious manner and independently with minimum supervisor.
• Understanding of WHMIS & adheres to all safety and good manufacturing practices.
• Perform other sanitation responsibilities as required.

Qualifications:

• Must be detail oriented.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Ability to follow directions of Supervisory staff and follow all safety rules and regulations.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and repetitive movements.

Forklift Operator – Barrie Location

This Job Offers:

• $20.00 per hour
• Work Monday-Friday 6:00AM – 2:30PM

Major Role & Responsibilities

• Regularly sitting on a powered industrial truck
• Frequently lift up to 50 pounds and adjust body position to bend, stoop, stand, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for long periods of time
• Having a good sense of balance
• Having good eye-hand-foot coordination
• Ability to assess weights and judge distances and heights 
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, depending on season

Job Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent 
• Good math, language and reading skills; basic computer skills may be required

Seasonal Line Operator - Day Shift 

This Job Offers:

• $19.00 per hour
• Work Monday-Thursday 6AM-4:30PM
• Off every Friday, Saturday and Sunday

Major Role & Responsibilities:

• Assist with running equipment to deliver performance according to Production's plan
• Observe and report any concerns or defects that may affect product safety or quality
• Adhere to all PPE, GMP, and HACCP requirements to achieve food safety standards
• Document all necessary data for machine and line performance
• Complete 100% of required Alchemy training (Personal Safety and Food Safety Training)

Job Requirements:

• The work environment is a food manufacturer. The line operator may experience a wide range of ambient temperatures and humidity.
• The position requires lengthy periods of standing, walking bending stooping, climbing stairs and possible working elevated platforms

Food Processor/Batcher

 This Job Offers

• Full Time - $20.50/hour 
• Work Monday-Thursday Days
• 3 Day weekend every week

 Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients in mixing area per established batch list and schedule. This includes weighing, measuring, and verification of proper ingredients
• Ensure lot code identification numbers are documented
• Arrange raw ingredients which are needed for production
• Properly store each ingredient in its assigned place and make sure it is properly covered
• Follow batches with precise measurements to create a very specialized batter
• Operate mixing machinery/ equipment as trained and follow all safety guidelines at all times
• Use a variety of tools (scales, thermometers, knives, etc.) in a safe and efficient manner
• Report any equipment malfunctions or quality issues to the Production Manager
• Maintain quality of finished product by monitoring texture, shape, and colour of product
• Maintain the overall cleanliness and sanitation of work area & equipment
• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), food safety and quality policies

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a food manufacturing facility
• Forklift experience is required. 
• Mixing experience preferred
• Accuracy and attention to detail and the ability to detect the presence of a quality issue
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Good communication skills, along with simple mathematical abilities
• Physically capable of performing the demands of the role
• Ability to lift 40kg
• Ability to move from one task to another with minimal distraction

A successful food processor/batcher is reliable and able to work with attention to detail. On-the-job training is a good way to discover how to do the job better, so you should have willingness to learn and improve. Being a team player is essential since all tasks will require close collaboration with co-workers. The goal will be to ensure that production procedures will be carried on smoothly to maximize efficiency and profits.
